This drive is the best of the best
Strengths: Cool, quiet, large capacity and excellent performance!
Weakness: None
I'm using this drive for more than a year now (I bought it when it was just under $300) in the pretty intensive mode. I have OS partition and storage partition on it - may be not very best decision from the failover stand point as one can say but I have 0 (zero) issues so far (keep fingers crossed :)). With the price now falling under $100 I'll buy another one for backup. What I love about this...

Great hard disk drive
Strengths: Fast, cool, quiet.
Weakness: None.
I have 3 of these. I have one in an eSATA Hard Drive Dock (Toaster). It runs very cool, and quiet. It's also noticeably faster than my other (not very old) hard drives. Hitachi is really a step ahead of the competition with this one.

Just the BEST - Over 5 years
I have been using it as my main HD drive for over 5 years. For the first 3-4 years it was working 24/7. Then for 17h/day. Just now it started clicking when using it in full load. But it's still going. Don't have any complains about it. It performed much better than I expected. Great HDD from Hitachi.
