Fabulooooouuus!
Strengths: -High performance/price value -better cooling solution than reference
Weakness: -still runs a little hot -doesn't tie your shoes
Beast of a card for it's price! Pretty much maxes all modern games besides the almighty Crysis. But I still get a little over 40 fps average running at high 1400x900 res. Equipped with a much better fan (dual slot) than other 4850's higher than its price and runs much cooler. Runs 52C idle. Here are some statistics regarding temperature. Bang for the Buck
Strengths: Above Average Speeds, Upgraded Fan
Weakness: Power Consumption, Noise
I bought this card as an upgrade to my Nvidia 7600GT. The first program I tested this card with was Flight Simulator X. I really didn't notice a significant improvement. After doing some research, it turns out FSX is an oddball game when it comes to video cards.
