Strengths: Solid state capacitors, gigabit network connection, color coded DDR2 slots, many sata and usb connections.
Weakness: Floppy connector, flimsy southbridge heatsink, odd placement of the IDE and power slots
I was looking for a reasonably priced core 2 duo motherboard. With the whole electrolyte, capacitor leakage fiasco, I decided that a gigabyte board with solid state capacitors would do the trick! Paired with a decent CPU and a nice video card this motherboard has been great so far! I would recommend anyone that is interested in the intel core 2 duo CPU's to consider gigabyte's line of...
