Its not worth the trouble
Strengths: Very fast when it works
Weakness: The card overheats way to easily, even with plenty of room below it
Adaptec's drive compatibility list on their site is useless. My drives were being dropped from the RAID constantly. I called tech support and they told me my drives were not compatible. Adaptecs site has my drives listed as compatible.
