Great Headset

Strengths: Excellent sound quality and an excellent mic. Impressive packaging that makes giving it as a present look impressive.

I use it mainly for gaming and some music, but mostly games. I like this headset very much, its extremely comfortable and has a very high quality feel to it (unlike a lot of cheap headsets).

I'm using it with an Asus Xonar DX sound card, using dolby headphone and the Xonar DX's EAX emulation, and it sounds awesome to me using it with this headset. I haven't tried many games yet though, just Battlefield2 and Lord Of The Rings Online. The 3d sound is excellent in my opinion.

You can also lay the headset on your desk, and the ear cups swivel upward. I like doing that if I don't feel like wearing them, and just want the sound to come out of them laying on the desk. That way I don't have to switch to my regular speakers.

It does get a little warm after wearing them a while, but its tolerable for me. From what I read the ear pads are replaceable. I also like how the mic can just be swiveled up when you don't use it.

Sorry if this review wasn't much help, but I do like them very much.

I know there is some Australian website that gives this headset a bad review, but they are the ONLY place that has. And they also sell headsets, so they have every motivation to well what they make the most money off of. Every other online review has been very good for this headset. The sound is great to me (and yes I have tried the over-hyped over-priced Technica brand in the past).
