HP w2207h monitor
Strengths: Colors are bright and vibrant, sleek design, easy height adjustment
Weakness: screen glare sometimes distracting; built-in speakers not sound good; no DVI connection
Upgraded from a Dell 1905 to this HP w2207h widescreen. It's a great 22" monitor in terms of color, display, sharpness, brightness. Pictures pop out. The rotating stand is excellent and easily allows height and tilt adjustments. Connections are HDMI (with cable included). Unlike other monitors, there is no DVI connection (will need to buy an HDMI to DVI converter). The built-in speakers aren't...

GREAT MONITOR
Strengths: Wi-i-i-ide screen, Sharp/clear/bright screen, USB ports, Hdmi, Adjustable height, Swivel screen
Weakness: Almost too bright
AWESOME MONITOR Great price($279 & free shipping)now back up to $309 & free ship. Still cheaper than in stores.($349 at Best Buy + tax) I almost didn't buy this monitor because I read several reviews that complained about glare/reflections. It does have some reflections on a dark screen and if light source can be seen on screen, but it is so adjustable that you can adjust out of the glare. I LOVE...

Review of Hewlett Packard's 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor w2207h
Strengths: The color quality and brightness are excellent for documents and photographs. The controls are comfortably placed on the front lower right side, no need to fumble around to find them.
Weakness: The only weakness I found was the sound system, which is adequate for normal listening but I like classical music while I am working.
This is a very versatile monitor for editing documents due to its width, clarity and viewing angle; you can comfortably fit two documents side by side for editing. One thing that really impressed me was the monitor's stand with its infinite height and viewing angle adjustments. It also has the ability to rotate the monitor vertically, which is a nice feature when editing portraits or viewing long...

Great monitor, nice features, good value
Strengths: Nice design & styling, tilt- and height-adjustable, screen rotates into portrait mode, great image quality, 2 USB ports included, (weak) speakers
Weakness: Nothing specific - perhaps the base's footprint is a bit big
Overall, this is a great choice for a 22-in monitor. The speakers are similar to laptop ones (weak bass) but are better than nothing. The design is very slick and the ability to rotate the screen 90 degrees is convenient. The monitor is very adjustable and has great image quality and brightness. There is even a two port USB hub included, so this is a great value for a larger monitor.

Better than all of the competition...even than Samsung!
Strengths: -Fully adjustable and durable stand...left, right, up, down, even folds over onto stand -Beautiful monitor with perfect 3000:1 contrast and 1680 x 1050 resolution...can go higher -Easy to use
Weakness: - Portrait view only works with VGA output (not HDMI)
I ended up doing about 16 hours (and I'm not overestimating) of research for monitors. I chose the HP w2207h over all of the others b/c of the amazing adjustable stand and the beauty (clarity and brightness) compared to the others. I decided on going with the HP w2207h over the w2408h b/c the 24" was just too big for my every day computing needs. I use this for gaming and movies also. If you end...
