Great Improvement over n52

Strengths: New software app is excellent. I found the old one mostly useless. Looks great, feels comfortable. Far superior to WASP

Weakness: Backlit buttons wear quickly. UI for app not totally intuitive but works great once you figure it out.

Auto-switch profiles works much better for me in this version of the application when compared with the N52. I didn't even know the te was out when I broke my N52, so I picked it up assuming it was just a backlit/shiney version of the N52. For the most part it is, but the clencher for me is the new application. Macro programming is far cleaner, though still not very robust. They did include mouse...

Nice, but not worth it

Strengths: Not many

Weakness: Software, thumbpad tophat, support

I used to own an older Nostromo pad, the predecessor to the Belkin line. I picked up the N52te thinking that the 'latest and greatest' would be the way to go. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. The software is lackluster; the macro system needs A LOT of work. The latest software package has missed its deadline twice now. Although they (Belkin/Razer) have put out a beta version, it's not much...

Save your money

Strengths: Nice looking, feels good and heavy.

Weakness: Horrible ergonomics, shorter cord.

I came off the n50 which they stopped supporting for Vista. Sad, I loved that and was on my third. I got mine today and spent 3 hours programming it. I use the thumb pad for my wsad. In this version, forget it. between w/s/a/d there is so much travel required that you loose movement and in game your movements jerk around or do not work. For 75 bucks, it is going back to bEST BUY. I'd actually pay...

Freeking Awsome

The core of this device is made by Razer. Which meens all of the buttons on it are store in a Internal memory. The best part about this is that you DONT have to install software to use it, only if you want to reprogram it. Its plug and play :). the response time is incrediable at 1000hz and any button can be either programed to a single key, a macro, or a repetable macro, with delays in it to...
