good Vdeo Card for a cheap price
Strengths: At $75 after rebate, is the best 320 processrs Video Card for low price (HD 2900's price is too high) . One Slot solution, so save one PCI-X slot.
Weakness: default setting for the fan is too noisy. switch on(80%) and off around 40 C.
with 3DMark06 10700 points and US80- price, If you willing to pay the little more electical power, no reason to buy 3850, 4670 rather than this one. for the noisy fan, I use Riva Turner and set it to 2%(1% = off) in normal use (when under 65%), 25% and 80% when playing 3D games. In my testing, I get 45C when idle, 55 C when 20% GPU cctivity. Even 2% still is the most noise maker in my PC, but low...

Multimedia HD 3870
Strengths: Good for multi-media
Weakness: average gameplay versus Nividia
I purchased this video card for multi-media purpose, especially for playing video from my pc. It installs painlessly, besides updating the drivers. I was trying to hook up my pc to my HDTV, but it would not display. So I had to hook it up to my pc monitor and then setup the HDTV through the pc. After setting it up, it plays my video content very well.

Destroys Nvidia at this pricepoint! Amazing card, HDCP, HDMI, etc.
Strengths: This card is outstanding! Inexpensive, HDCP compliant, HDMI output, suprisingly quiet, plays Blu Ray video flawlessly, and records HDTV without issue.
Weakness: NONE. Probably even cheaper now that the new 4xxx line is out!
I bought this video card for it's ability to playback Blu Ray video, HDTV, and play Age of Conan. It did not disappoint on any level! Simply outstanding card. With the new 4xxx line out, Ati is firmly ahead of it's competitor(s). I'd upgrade, but there simply is no need! This card does everything I need it to do and then some.

Strengths: run games very good
Weakness: sometimes sends graphic errors while playing games
i was playing game someday and the monitor just went blank every time i start the computer the fan dose not spin nor i see any on the screen its only when i leave it on for a while then the fan starts spinning but the monitor is still blank.
