Good Midrange Card

Strengths: Performance for a good price is hard to beat. Running World of Warcraft with max settings I get 60 fps everywhere except Shattrath where I get 50.

Weakness: The card is thin, but long. Just barely fit my huge Antec P182 case.

The most I ever paid for a video card, but the performance I get out of it is worth every penny. Make sure the rest of your components won't bottleneck your performance.

Good value for money

Strengths: Runs current games great, takes up only one slot

Weakness: Card is a little long, fan runs loud

This is a pretty popular graphics card and the price is constantly increasing, if it isn't sold out. As expected, it runs current games great. It meets or exceeds recommended system specifications for all current games, so that's expected. It takes up one slot, not like the higher-end cards which use dual-slot coolers, which is good for SLI or small mobos. Unfortunately, the card is a bit long....

excellent card, as soon as the price drops, it will be awesome!

Strengths: Awesome performance in Crysis, BF2, Bioshock. Relatively quiet fan, good temparature. Great overclocker

Weakness: No HDMI-input LONG CARD

Upgraded to the 8800gt 512mb from my previous card, which was a 7900gt ko (over clocked edition with copper heat sink), also made by eVGA. What an increase in performance, with no other change. The 8800GT dominates in any game I've tried to play. Although it was a pretty good chunk of change, I'm glad I purchased it and would definitely recommend the card to anyone looking for an upgrade from a...

Great upgrade from the 7 series.

Strengths: - great performance - a lot cheaper than the GTS or GTX - fairly quiet for a high-end card (improved 15-blade fan as opposed to the 13-blade fan in the original reference design)

Weakness: - still difficult to find at a price below MSRP - long card, resulting in a tricky installation - not DX 10.1 compatible

Before I purchased this 8800gt, I was using a 7900gt. The performance increase was incredible. In all of my games (flight simulator x, team fortress 2, dark messiah, crysis, need for speed pro street, etc.) my frames per second have increased twofold, if not threefold, at settings higher than those I've been using before. The card is also a lot quieter, and cost less than what I bought my 7900GT...

Great Video Card

Strengths: scored a perfect score in Vista Ultimate 64-Bit

Weakness: should have bought sooner. Demand is so high they have raised msrp

Great card for the money. I'am not running SLI so this card was the perfect one if you want to save a little cash. It's hard to find in stock so you might need to buy directly from EVGA.
