Good DVD writer

I bought this one from newegg. My old liteon one is broken. I like this one better. Liteon is sound much louder than samsung. for $30. it's a good choice.

Great drive, good speed, quiet.
Strengths: Fast. Rips movies at up to 10x, my Plextor that had almost the same read speed never went above 2x. Quiet. Great price for all the features. Burns an 8x DL in 15min.
Weakness: None at this time.
If you need a DVD burner, go for this. Samsung are the only ones I will trust. After my last burner(Sony Dru-720) died on me after 1 year and Sony customer service told me to go buy a new one without helping me troubleshoot I decided to go for this samsung since my samsung hard drive has been going for 5 years now with no problem at all.

Great burner
Strengths: Quiet & Lightscribe
Weakness: None
Very quiet burner, installation was a breeze. Lightscribe works great for a simple job like wording 2-3 minutes but graphics will take quite a bit longer (20 min or so)
