Description:
Extending Corsair's legendary reputation in performance and quality, the new Corsair VX family of power supply features the industry's most efficient power management and ultra-quiet design for mainstream users. Unlike most power supplies in the market, the Corsair VX incorporates a single +12V power rail that delivers continuous power under heavy loads. This conservative design ensures reliable operation in today's most demanding system configurations and adds compatibility for future platforms. The unique combination of rock solid performance and incredible value puts the Corsair VX family of power supplies in a class of its own. Ideal for home theater PCs and Energy Star PCs, the VX line maximizes energy savings and minimum noise generation thanks to double-forward switching circuitry design.

Super quiet PSU
Strengths: Super quiet, energy efficient, sleeve and long cables
Weakness: None
I decided to get the Corsair VX450W after reading JonnyGuru and SilentPCReview on the unit. I have been using it for about 2 weeks now, replaced an Antec TruePower that die inside my parents' computer. We immediately noticed how quiet the computer become. We were impressed by the overall quality of the unit. With Corsair's awesome support and 5 year warranty, buying this PSU is a no-brainer.

CMPSU-450VX
Strengths: Nicely packaged
Weakness: Doesn't work
First thing I noticed when unwrapped it - one of the body panels was misaligned/shifted. I thought "it's OK, but they should do better job on visual inspection there". Then I build my new rig and it wasn't turning on. After I checked and rechecked everything I decided to swap PSU - took Enermax Liberty 500W and boot with it from the first try. A great power supply
Strengths: Quiet! Plenty of cables. Solidly built. Excellent manual.
Weakness: None
I used this for my quiet, fast PC. Works with an Antec Solo perfectly. Keeps PC really cool too. The only noise I can hear is the case fan (barely).

Great power supply
Strengths: Extremely quiet, long cables, lots of easy to use connections
Weakness: none
I got this power supply for my latest PC and was extremely impressed. I try to build all my PCs to be as quiet as possible and this PSU definitely helps out in that dept. Since I used the Antec Mini-P180 case, which has the PSU in the bottom of the case, the long cables came in extremely handy.
I would recommend this PSU to anyone who wants a solid, quiet system.

Good PSU
Strengths: 4 or 8 pin connector power connector, very quiet and it is small but gives good watts/amps
Weakness: Only 1 PCI-E power connector
A good watts/amps for the price. Corsair power supply have always been good and this one is no exception. Running an 8800GT, e6750, 500GB WD hard drive, DVD RW drive, and a lot of fans without any trouble. I like that it is a small power supply so it fits in well to my case and it has enough cords to connect what I want. Not great for a huge power system (Quad core/SLI/Crossfire), but great for...
