Fantastic Hard Drive!
Strengths: Works flawlessly with my PS3 since I used this as a HDD upgrade. This seems to be the cheapest and best way to upgrade from my standard 60GB hard drive. This is one of the least expensive 160GB HDDs.
Weakness: None so far.
Please stop complaining about "losing" space. Hard drive manufacturers give the excuse that a gigabyte is 1 billion bytes in order to artificially inflate their perceived capacity. Computers have always recognized a gigabyte as 1,024^3, or apprx 1.073 billion. So, the hard drive will ALWAYS look like their capacity is smaller than advertised through the operating system. Blame the hard drive...

Does the job!
Strengths: Price, high capacity, easy to install, seamless read speeds, quiet
Weakness: Advertised capacity does not match actual available space, WD's customer service
This drive was purchased to upgrade my Playstation 3 hard drive to 160 GB. The price was second to none compared to other models at the time. The build quality is very sturdy. The physical installation was quick and easy, as well was formatting the hard drive. The only thing I don't like can be said about ANY hard drive and not just this one.
