Awesome mouse

Strengths: Looks good, comfortable, capable of changing DPI setting as well as others, no downtime

Weakness: Right-side buttons, scroll wheel

This mouse is all around nice, the responce is great, has 2 left buttons which come in handy, but it does have its downside. The scroll wheel is somewhat stiff, so you will need to scroll up/down constantly. There are also 2 right-side buttons located under the green band which goes around the back and sides of the mouse. These buttons are very difficult to press with either the ring finger or the pinky; you have to really twist your finger if you want to use them, but I hardly use them so I don't worry about them. On 2000DPI this mouse very sensitive; new users like myself will require a lot time to get used to the 2000DPI, but you can always lower it. The light looks really cool, especially at night, which I love leaving the lights off to admire it, but some times I do wish they were off. Overall, a must have mouse if you give yourself time to get used to 2000DPI.

GREAT MOUSE...minor bug.

Strengths: Lightweight, comfortable, responsive, no batteries req!

Weakness: Had a minor issue with it's software not recognizing it on rear USB ports following a firmware update. Tech support says WHA?

I myself am not a fan of side buttons because I hit them all the time when I'm browsing web pages. Perhaps I can set the default setting so it doesn't go back. At any rate. I updated the mouse firmware, which in and of itself isn't entirely easy. I did it according to directions while the mouse was plugged into my front USB ports. I updated the mouse firmware, which in and of itself isn't entirely easy. I did it according to directions while the mouse was plugged into my front USB ports. Well, if I plug it into the back USB ports now, it goes unrecognized by the Razer Software, which means the Windows OS controls the settings, which means they're off. Upon contacting razer they sent me some email about going to a webpage where it tells how to change something in my registry... Now why would I have to tinker with Win Registry to get a USB mouse to work? I have no idea. Sounds to me like they need new software people. With all that said, I love this mouse. That's the only issue I've seen so far really. It is corded, which after the Logitech G7's battery life I'm thinking is a good thing. No more changing batteries every 2 hrs! Woot!
