I bought a book from them and, with my work load and Holiday activities didn't resolve my card purchases for a few months at which time I found they were charging me $19.95 per month for a "membership" which I did not join. I called their866-707-5858 number and was told I had to have agreed to the membership to have bought anything from them. The email I kept from October 2010 regarding the actual order did not mention any membership.	Overall Rating

They will offer a credit only for the prior two months if you notice these excessive charges and call them. This is a complete scam. You are automatically enrolled and charged separately from your order. Very easy to overlook. Your receipt for purchase will not include any charge or make mention of membership enrollment or fee. You only notice charges once it starts showing up on your statement. Stay away from this distributor.	Overall Rating

When I looked up the book the website said it was in stock and available. AFTER I gave them my money I started to get e-mails stating that the book was out of stock. There was no timeframe given to let me know WHEN I should expect the book or contact information so I could call to follow up. I eventually received a box months later and then it was the wrong book. It was like a cliff notes version of the actual book. It was tiny and missing tons of pages! I called to complain and could not get a refund. Now 6 months later I found that they have been charging me $19.95 a month for a "savings program." I NEVER sign up for trial programs and feel totally ripped off! Obviously there was something decieving to have me be signed up for a program that I didn't know existed! This book was supose to cost $4.77 and has cost me $150!	Overall Rating

Then when you discover this 6 months later they will only credit (claimed to credit - still waiting) you for 2 months maximum. So a $11.83 purchase turns into 111.83$ DON'T USE THIS DISHONEST VENDOR! They refused to refund my $5. I had no idea it would take 13 days to even ship the order but to take my $5 for 2 day shipping when the shipping took 5 business days was really wrong...you can find lots of other complaints about this operation on the internet. They seem to have a few different names associated with them. I did receive the books and they did respond to my complaint so I'm not going to give a completely unsatisfactory rating but I would advise finding some other business from which to order merchandise. If you order a book from them they will automatically - and without your knowledge - sign you up for a "discount" membership that charges your credit card 19.95 per month with their associated website "BestBrandValues.com". When you try to terminate the 'membership' on their website you must enter a password, although they never have provided you with a password. When you try to call the number on their webpage, you get a busy signal. I advise anyone thinking of ordering from them to google search "discountbooksale.com scam" and read the accounts of those who've been scammed by these criminals. After discovering the unauthorized charges on my credit card I cancelled the credit card number and reported them for the fraudulent transactions. Order from a reputable retailer such as amazon.com instead. Now that I see how far back the complaints against these scammers go, I'm surprised that the authorities haven't shut them down. A "free trial" membership for one week is offered with no charge if canceled in 7 days. However,after canceling membership your account is still charged! When you complain at customer service, they answer that you have 2(!) memberships and that both need to be canceled.Beware for both sites, this is monkey business! Order a book from them, and they automatically sign you up for SmartSavingsCenter, even if you click "No Thanks" when their ad appears. You have 7 days to cancel by phone only. GOOD LUCK, the phone number has been disconnected.
